Term 2, Week 2
Monday 27th April 2020 – Friday 1st May 2020
It has been great to see a good number of students returning to school over the first week of this term.
We would like to encourage and support as many students as possible to come back and join us for learning.
A special mention goes out to our returning AHL boarding students who have been supported to travel back from their communities to attend Tennant Creek High School.
A modified timetable has been used for Week 1 (Monday 20th April 2020 – Friday 24th April 2020)
As of Monday 27th April 2020 the school will return to our regular timetable for classes.
A big thank you to Legal Aid and Catholic Care for their donation of re-useable water bottles for students; this is to support the NT Department of Education Guidelines around bubbler use at school.
As we begin Term 2 we have the pleasure of welcoming Gina Howard as Juno Centre Manager and Paul Vary as VET Trainer to work with our Certificate I and Certificate II students.
Students who are working from home will continue to be supported through work packages, regular teacher contact and online learning and materials as appropriate.
