Tennant Creek High School is open for Term 2.
The school will continue to support all students in their learning through face-to-face, hard copy workpackages or online options.
The information below outline the timetable structure and use of work packages for the commencement of Term 2.
Timetable – Commencement of Term 2
Modified from the regular timetable structure to accommodate uncertain numbers of students who attend school
The times of lessons remains unchanged
Recess and Lunch times remain unchanged
Canteen will operate as usual
The same number of lessons per subject
The delivery of the lessons will be different eg 7-9 English groups will not be split 5 ways. The lesson will be supervised by 2 teachers with students using their individual work packages for their learning during this time
Online learning options provided by individual teachers will continue.
It is expected that teachers will make direct contact with families about the times for student online learning
Transition from the timetable that commences 20th April 2020 to the regular timetable can be made without disruption to learning whenever it is appropriate.

Developed in a two week cycle
Week 1 & 2 work packages are now available
Students who are working from home can have their work package collected or dropped off from Monday 20th April 2020
Students working from home can expect regular contact from their teachers about their progress with their Term 2 work packages
Work packages from Term 1 are expected to be returned for feedback and assessment as soon as possible
Work packages will be the key learning resource that is used during Term 2
