Term 2, Week 7

Monday 1st June - Friday 5th June 2020

It is great news that the long awaited repurposing of the F Block will commence this week. There will be a few classes relocating to other areas to support this work occurring and being completed as soon as possible.

The formalised reporting period for Semester 1 is rapidly approaching for all students. In support of informing families of student progress to date in the Middle Years a traffic light report was sent out last week. The intention of this report was to inform both students and families of how things are tracking with assessment. There is plenty of time left for students to improve assessment outcomes through family encouragement and ongoing conversations.

It was great to see a number of students taking up the opportunity to engage in Certificate II in Engineering Pathways with VET Trainer Tom Bird from CDU last week in phase one of the training program. It will be great to have Tom back in August for the second of four blocks of training.

We are getting in early with a message that the Anyinginyi Eye Clinic will be visiting the school to conduct student eye screening during the last week of this term. This is the same yearly screening that Anyinginyi schedule with us.

As always please know that you are more than welcome to make contact with the school anytime that you would like to discuss any aspect of learning.
