Students were introduced to skills and techniques to design 3D objects on TinkerCAD, a design software created by Autodesk Inc. The students designed simple shapes with their names or initials embedded in the 3D objects for starters. Some motivated students challenged themselves, spent a week designing a house and successfully printed them. They also know how to initialise and operate the 3D printers, use the 3D printing software, make adjustments in the layer thickness, infill, resolution, raft and support to achieve the printing quality of the 3D project they require.
